We can connect more deeply with “the four species” this Sukkot - hadas (myrtle), lulav (palm branch), arava (willow) and etrog (citron) - through exploring their history in Jewish herbalism across the diaspora. This zine contains 24 pages of writing and sources, describing how these four herbs show up in Jewish folk traditions, folk medicine, and culture.
